1. Overview

ByJTT Experiments ("we", "us") operates experiments.byjtt.com ("the Site"), a research hub of 1:1 game clones built with AI. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and your choices. We are committed to minimal data collection: the Site is free, contains no advertising, and does not sell personal data.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Voluntarily submitted

Leaderboard entries: when you submit a score, we store the name you choose and your score (plus combo stats) in our leaderboard. This data is public — anyone visiting the site can see it.

2.2 Automatically collected

The Site runs cookieless, aggregate analytics via Google Analytics (Google tag G-SBB09FC6W1) and Vercel Web Analytics. These collect only anonymous, aggregate data — page views, referrer domain, device type, approximate country, and performance metrics. No cookies are set, no personal data (name, email, IP-based profiling) is collected or used for advertising, and no fingerprinting is performed. You can block analytics with any standard privacy extension. Our host (Vercel, Inc.) keeps standard server logs for operational purposes; we do not use this data for profiling or advertising.

3. How we use data

To display leaderboards you voluntarily submit to.
To send the ByJTT Newsletter to addresses you voluntarily subscribe with (one email per experiment; unsubscribe anytime by replying).
To detect and prevent abuse (e.g., spam or fraudulent scores).

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties. Newsletter addresses are stored in our hosting provider's encrypted storage (Vercel Blob) and are never shared.

4. Cookies

The Site does not use tracking cookies. The games use your browser's localStorage to save your personal best score and in-progress game state on your own device. This data never leaves your browser.

5. Third-party services

Hosting: Vercel, Inc. (see Vercel's Privacy Policy).
X (Twitter) embeds: if a post from our X account is embedded on a page, X may set cookies or collect data per X's Privacy Policy.

6. Data retention

Leaderboard entries are retained until removed. You may request deletion of your leaderboard entry by contacting us (Section 9) — we will remove it promptly.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR in the EU/EEA, CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these, contact us at the address below.

8. Children's privacy

The Site is a general-audience game hub and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Leaderboard names are self-chosen and not tied to accounts.
